Counselling & Therapy

I help menopausal, midlife and older, post-menopausal women especially with regards to life crisis, burnout, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, midlife transition, relationship issues, the ‘mother wound’, problems with eating and food, becoming an elder, the transition from role to soul, death and dying.

I am equally open to working with people who value the intimacy of the therapeutic space as a place for reflection, making sense of yourself and of life.

Sessions are weekly and last 50 minutes. I am open to short and long-term work.

Work with me in person from my therapy room at the Eastbourne Therapy Hub in central Eastbourne on Mondays and Tuesdays.

I also work on-line via Zoom with people from around the world.

My fees are £75 per session. Concessions are available for counselling trainees and the low waged.

Do you feel lost?

Do the same old patterns keep reappearing in your life and you’re not sure why, just that something is getting in the way?

Is life unravelling for you?

Are you in life transition, feeling uncertain, wondering what went wrong, seeking meaning and purpose?

Do you have burnout, anxiety or depression?

Are you struggling with food, especially sugar, carbs and ultra-processed foods, tired of diets, ready to transform your relationship with food?

My Approach

My approach is deeply relational, mindful and kind. I seek to understand what happened to you, enabling you to speak uncensored in a safe space, a place of non-judgement.

My training and experience is integrative and transpersonal which means that I blend a range of methods and approaches. Everyone is different and I bespoke my approach to meet your unique needs. I work with the whole person, with your past, present and future, paying attention to trauma, shame, attachment and loss, the ‘presenting past’ and repeating patterns that oftentimes cause us pain and confusion.

Transpersonal work pays attention to our mind, body, feelings and soul, bringing focus to the needs and wants of our different parts, to bring insight, inner peace and harmony. This may include archetypal and ancestral patterns, as well as shadow work.

Therapy is an alchemical process and may include practices that make the unconscious conscious such as: dreamwork, expressive art, inner child work, imagery, systemic and family constellations.

“I’d highlight your ability to hold a safe and trustworthy, insightful space, your ability to listen and pay attention to me, follow my thread, be with me in it, empathy, understanding, your resources and a considerable vast helpful knowledge of supporting tools and techniques I can investigate and use to support myself. Kindness, care and love. Helping me to find my Direction not giving one to me! The fact that you supported me to empower myself and become the authority in my own life.”
